CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Ignis Scientia
Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Age: 22
Suitability: Giving Ignis personality, one might think a setting like this would overwhelm the man, considering the openness of the place when it comes down to intimacies and carnal pleasure. And chances are he will be rather overwhelmed at first. Poised, but startled. Eventually, he shall adjust as time goes on, becoming more aware and involved with the environment and the idiosyncrasy of it’s people. As well, and giving his usually nurturing nature, Ignis won’t hesitate in pampering and indulging his partners should they need it, as well as he (hopefully) will be most down to explore sex in it’s different flavors… for the science
Species: Human.
Canon Point: Sucked into the world before getting blind. (To be updated)
World/Setting: -
History: Ignis' background has always been closely related to the Crown's heir from the Lucian Kingdom, whom he began assisting at the early age of six and thanks to his uncle, who helped him earn a place as a Government worker. Gradually, he made himself of vital need, as well as earning his place in the very Crownsguard too, work which demanded from him both his brains and muscles too. Ever since then, all of Ignis' skills have been dedicated in order to serve the Prince, preparing himself to fulfill his duty as advisor, strategist and chamberlain.
More of his background can be found here. *spoilers*
Personality:
Gifted with privileged intelligence ever since he was a kid, Ignis presents himself as a very formal and well educated man, manners always coming first in every situation he finds himself involved. His education has provided him with an extensive language he always uses in elegant fashion, accompanied by his accent which differs and stands out compared to his other friends. He is usually eloquent and direct at the moment of expressing himself, wether he is socializing for the first time or talking to long term friends, making of him the group’s first choice for making decisions that require a smart way out, should the player doesn’t know what to do or doesn’t want to take responsibility. This can be seen in game as Ignis constantly appears as the only optative character which can be approached for answer in the player’s place.
Always self confident of his own abilities and talents and fully aware of his own genius, Ignis won’t hesitate remarking how he was correct in his decisions and actions, which can be appreciated in dialogues during battle.
This stiff personality is accompanied by a somewhat dull and dense sense of humor, Ignis having a hard time reading and sometimes understand certain types of jokes told around him. Because of this, he might be spotted sometimes throwing puns in order to become part of the joke too with not the best of the results at times. Although, and thanks to his florid vocabulary, it is easy for him to take words and twist them in a pun in return, as seen here.
His previous feature, however, doesn't deprive Ignis from having his own sense of humor: sarcastic, ironic, bold and a bit cruel at times, his smartness allowing him to develop a rather twisted humor which he won't hesitate in showing up should the situation grant the chance. Sometimes he might even be found gloating at people's expense, his most common targets being always being his close circle of friends, as seen here.
Because of his duties as guide and guard from an early age, Ignis is known as the intellectual, mature and serious member of his team. Always poised and observant of his friend's actions, Ignis is used to watch over his people, sometimes even acting like a parental figure and specially when it comes down to Noctis, whom he had dedicated his entire life to serve and raise, cue the running gag both Noctis and Ignis share about Ignis being Noctis’ “mother”, as seen here (as well as other examples of their bantering can be seen here and here). Due his large loyalty and closeness to the Prince, Ignis is known as Noctis' right hand and the only friend who knows him for who he really is. For this very same reason, Ignis seems and acts servile and nurturing when it comes to Noctis, always putting his own needs aside in order to protect the Prince, his wellbeing always coming first than his own wether in battle or in their daily life. This can be spotted in game as Ignis always seems to be around Noctis in battle, ready to cover and protect him from enemies, as well as encouraging him with his sworn loyalty.
Needless to say, this protective veil is reserved only to the Prince and his close friends, namely his Crownsguard colleagues Gladiolus and Prompto… to a degree. Although it should be noted, as seen in the game, that Ignis won’t hesitate protecting civilians from danger as well, his altruist personality driving him to act once more in sake of the other’s wellbeing. Should Ignis detect any danger threatening said people, he shall and will act in consequence in order to eradicate that source of dangers, even if that means scarifying himself in order to fulfill a greater good, as spotted after the rite in Altissia in episode 10 from the game, his actions leading to sacrifice his own vision in sake of the mission’s success. From that moment, and up until before the timeskip, Ignis becomes fully aware how his disability won’t allow him to perform any of his former tasks. And even though his current situation, he still pursues his rightful role in this war, recklessly throwing himself and assisting in combat, should his actions help the party at least moderately.
Speaking of possible rivalries, Ignis isn’t the sort of man who holds grudges against anyone, for a rivalry would divert him from improving in other aspects of himself. Instead, when he suspects of someone as a possible enemy, Ignis prefers to keep tabs on them from a distance where he can observe, investigate and understand said enemy, never shoving them away with foul language or vulgarities. Scheming is his modus operandi, detecting his enemies' weaknesses before delivering the final strike and putting them down in his own fashion instead of resourcing to senseless violence from the very beginning, even though the process seems slower compared to just relying on brute force in order to overcome threats.
Ignis is a perfectionist to the boot, always aiming for the best result in every aspect of his life and unable to stand for ambiguities or mediocrity, his large sense of duty always pushing him forward in aim of perfection. Should something refuse to come out his way, Ignis will most likely pursue said thing persistently, until the result shapes and suffices his high standards of quality, wether this something be a simple as a recipe or a complex battle. Due his perfectionism, Ignis always plans carefully every step beforehand performing any action, behavior which had also earned him the duty of Strategist of his group, both plotting and leading missions in order to ensure their success.
Up until his final days, Ignis is known and seen as a fearsome and skilled fighter, combining gymnastics and weapon wielding, being daggers and polearms his usual weapons of choice. Sometimes, although infrequently, he might be seen wielding katanas too, that due his first character concept having him wielding japanese swords instead of his current ones. His duties in combat consider fighting, healing and providing support and boosting to his companions, as well as coming up with with both suggestions and strategies should they be needed.

One would have thought the people in the market was more aware of the species in the forest, Ignis thought. He had been advised though, how he shouldn't approach the forest all by himself, considering it was his first time out there. How he could use the friendly hand of a hunting partner (wether it was to perform actual hunting or something else out in the woods) but had he listened?
Giving how he finds himself all alone, in depth into the forest, no. But his own experience should suffice for this, right? Ignis have had enough time out in the wilderness of the Lucian Kingdom, either fighting feral beasts or carefully picking wild ingredients for his recipes, observing, investigating wether they were poisonous or good to eat. It was more than enough experience to prove he was cut for this mission. Though in all honesty, this forest wasn't like anything he had seen before: unusually green, oddly colorful, suspiciously inviting. Could it be something in the air?
That's how it lands to this. To that bush Ignis spots after quite some time of silent exploring through the forest. And, though the fruits look temptingly ripe and delicious and perfect for his recipe, his own logic reminds him how he shouldn't trust them, no matter their appearance. No matter the sweet fragrancy which came from them. And definitely no matter how much the very same bush tried to seduce him into reaping its fruits, one large vine caressing down from his ankle and upward his leg as they spoke in seductive voice, sliding and wrapping around his thigh, massaging almost lovingly as they begged Ignis to dig his hands into its leaves and touch its sticks, promises of making him feel good too in return made in a begging plea.
"Apologies, but I believe we definitely aren't on the same page--"
A touch cut his own voice, sharp breath coming out as that long vine pressed in between his legs now, a lewd and long caress with a clear intention of stroking him over his pants. Scandalous, he thought to himself, and then why was it actually feeling so good, too?
And, as much as he wanted to abort the mission and leave for a moment giving the peculiarity of the situation, there was his pride, too. How was he supposed to return empty handed to the town? And disappoint all the people who seemed most eager to test his new recipe? And Ignis considers though: it might not be that bad to actually please the bush into its desires, considering how willing they were to share their goods. It was only harmless touching, after all.
